Claims Procedure
1. Complete Claim Form
- Sign and complete claim form
2. Gather supporting document
- Original Death Certificate
- Original Policy (if applicable)
- Valid and certified copy of identification document of the Insured and Beneficiary/claimant
- Proof of relationship between the Insured and Beneficiary/claimant
Additional Documents (if applicable)
- Death Inquest Report
- Autopsy Report
- Police Report/Statement
- Newspaper Clippings
- Cremation Certificate or Death Certificate issued from the Hospital
- Letter of Administration/Probate on the deceased’s estate (with our Company name and the relevant policy)
We may request further documents upon assessment. Number of estimates are not required for Death Claim.
3. Submit Documents
- By Mail or By Person to our Company at
- Belmont Chambers, Tropic Isle Building, Nibbs Street, Road Town, Tortola VG 1110, British Virgin Islands
- In general, upon receiving the claims application, we will provide a status update and list of outstanding documents (if applicable) within 5 to 7 working days^.
- Unless specified in the provisions, there is no specific timeframe required for notifying us or submitting a claim. However, to facilitate timely assessment and payment, we encourage claimants to submit the claim as soon as reasonably practicable.
4. Processing and Settlement
- Claims will be assessed and settled within thirty (30) days of receiving all required documentation, unless exceptional circumstances apply. We will keep you informed of any delays and reasons.

6. Confidentiality
- All personal and claim-related information will be handled in strict confidence and in compliance with BVI data protection laws.
7. Conflict of Interest
- We ensure impartial handling of claims and have measures in place to manage any potential conflicts of interest.
8. Record-Keeping
- We maintain complete records of all claims for a minimum of seven (7) years in compliance with regulatory requirements.
